Our Beijing sightseeing adventure has come to an end. It has been two days packed full! Friday we visited the Great Wall, it is amazing! Unfortunately it was a bad smog day so the pictures don't do it justice. After lunch we went to the National Stadium (Bird's Nest) where the 2008 Summer Olympics were held. Today we explored the Summer Palace and the Forbidden City. We have tackled hundreds of stairs the last two days! These places are massive! We'll try to post pictures tomorrow.
We head back to the airport early tomorrow morning with the other families in our travel group. We'll each be going our separate ways to get our children, we have a 3 hour flight to Guangzhou. We'll get settled in our hotel where we'll stay for the duration and get rested up for the big day on Monday.
